^{The 5 day course is an ideal springboard for electricians to gain entry into the heating sector without the need to undertake a complex plumbing training course. Basic plumbing training is available free of charge to those who sign up to this programme. The plumbing training lasts 1 day and must be taken prior to the heating installer course commencing.}

  ^{2 Days Practical Training}

   

  ^{Electrical Wiring of system controls. This is done initially on training boards with fully working heat packs. Students will wire Y and S plans. Students will then perform routine function checks on their wiring and control boards. The electrical heating wiring training usually lasts about half a day and is the basis for the rest of the practical training.}
