The UK One 7 Week Plumbing Training Courses include the 6129 level 2 qualification. UK One is approved by City & Guilds to provide and run the award. The 7 week training schedule has been designed to enable our students to be fully competent to deal with domestic plumbing problems having learnt the practical skills to help them deal with problems that modern plumbers face. The training course also makes students aware of other industry related factors such as building regulations and legislation.
Qualifications Explained
The 6129 City & Guilds plumbing qualification is seperated into practical and theory sessions. UK One Training believe plumbing courses should be as hands on as possible with a 70/30% split in favour of practical plumbing training tuition over theory sessions at the training centre.

For this to happen an element of home learning has been included. You will be issued written assignments during our 6129 plumbing courses that will need to be completed at various key stages of the plumbing training course.

The written assignements on the 6129 plumbing training course are kept to a minimum and only used as a learning reinforcement tool.

There is a wall of information for you to get to grips with during the theory lessons. All of our plumbing training courses theory sessions will cover all of the required subject matter in great detail.

At every stage of the 6129 plumbing training course you will be completing and adding to your plumbing course portfolio, which will be your plumbing training course evidence and proof of the units that you have completed and evidence towards an NVQ. The plumbing training course portfolio will include both photographic evidence and written statements that show each stage of your plumbing learning development. Your plumbing training course portfolio will also be a key integral part of your progression to a full NVQ if you choose to do it.
