It's not just the re-arrangement of the cold/hot water plumbing that makes unvented systems a daunting prospect for many, but it's the connecting to and re-arrangement of the primary circuits, the space heating & hot water zones in addition to the requirements of the associated heating system plan, be it S/Y. A safe installation requires seamless component integration, sometimes installed in cramped and confined spaces such as airing cupboards. Getting it done will test your skill, patience and ultimately your resolve if you are to get it right.

Unvented Hot water cylinders are considerably larger their open vented equivalent. Unless you have the opportunity to relocate the cylinder you are going to find that the installation process will be a little cramped.
